Which apps are blocked, and why?

TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, X. Built to keep you scrolling. Blocked at system level, even in the browser.

Can’t I just bypass it?

No. The block is part of the phone’s operating system. It applies in the browser and to apps installed from APK files, and there is no setting to switch it off.

Bluetooth, AirPods and SIM?

Bluetooth works, including AirPods. Lagom uses a physical SIM card, so you keep your number. There is no eSIM, and it runs on 4G.

Does my app work?

Most everyday apps work, including BankID, Swish, WhatsApp, Maps and Spotify. Lagom has no NFC, so tap-to-pay with the phone does not work. Not sure about a specific app? Ask us before you buy.

What if I don’t like it?

You have 14 days to try it. If it’s not for you, send it back for a full refund. A return label is included.

What is the meaning of life?

We ask ourselves that question every day. Not out of worry, but out of curiosity and gratitude.

Walk into the forest and look closely. The rain gives the trees water. The trees give us air to breathe. The ants work in silence and carry an entire ecosystem. Nothing is unnecessary. Everything works together, and without one, the other falls.

The same is true for us. We are born different: teachers, farmers, scientists, builders, entrepreneurs. And yet there are just enough of each for the world to work. That is no coincidence. Every person carries a unique gift, and that gift is not for ourselves. It is for our neighbor.

We believe in God, and that is where our conviction comes from. Romans 12 says: “For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ.” As John Maxwell likes to say: your potential is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.

The phone could have been the greatest tool ever made for living out that gift. More knowledge in your pocket than any king ever had. But somewhere along the way, the tool was hijacked. The most powerful companies in the world built their business models on our attention. They have learned what keeps us scrolling, and it is rarely the best in us.

We fell into a trance so fast we didn't even notice.

That is why we built Lagom. A phone with everything you need to chase your dream, and everything built to steal your time taken out.

We don't want you to stop using technology. We want technology to start serving you.
